Obsolete Design

Just like video players, vinyl longplaying disks, and the dodo were once brand new, but they are not any more, so some electronic parts can become a thing of the past. Today, technologies become obsolete with the turn of the wind. It does not always mean, however, that the invention or improvement of a new electronic technique renders your whole device or machine useless. Neither does it mean that you need to purchase the whole inventory of a particular chip that is in existence, before it will be taken out of production. We just need to replace the obsolete chip with something new. But that sounds easier than it is, in many cases. Replacement of the chip can entail redesign of the electronic boards of the machine. In other cases, bugs can crop up with the manufacturing process, for which solutions need to be found.
